Prof.S.C.Bagri

Dr S C Bagri is an internationally known tourism educato, who holds the post of Vice Chancellor at Himgiri Zee University. He started his career as Lecturer at HNB Garhwal University and continued there till 1995 when he was elevated to the post of professor at Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM), Gwalior, Ministry of Tourism, Govt. India. In 1998, he moved to HNB Garhwal University at Srinagar to take the position of Professor of Tourism Management and Director of the Centre for Mountain Tourism and Hospitality Studies. Keeping in view of his vast experience on tourism planning and development,, United Nations World Tourism organization appointed him consultant for Human Resource development for Tourism Master plan of Punjab and West Bengal in 2008 which he successfully accomplished with the fellow team members. Add to this he was also the Principal Research Investigator of research projects awarded to him by All India Council for technical Education, Planning Commission, Govt. of India, University Grants Commission, Indian Council of Social Science Research and Agriculture Finance Corporation of India
