Civil Engineering in ancient India 

Presenting a video featuring a lecture delivered by Prof R N Iyengar, Distinguished Professor and the Director of the Centre for Ancient History & Culture at the Jain University, Bangalore. His lecture was spread over two days on the subject - Civil Engineering in Ancient India. Professor Iyengar is a renowned civil engineer and is known for his contributions to Earthquake Engineering, Random Vibrations, Mathematical Modeling, Structural Dynamics and Nonlinear Systems. During IKS 2019, he discussed about the Indian engineering marvels that are found not only in the form of palaces and temples but also in bridges, dams, water tanks, irrigation structures, spread across the length and breadth of the country.
