Balakrishnan Muniapan

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Balakrishnan Muniapan is a specialist in HRM. He was conferred the “Best Professor in HRM” awards at the World Education Congress, Asia’s Education Excellence 2014 (Singapore) and at the World HRD Congress 2017 (Mumbai). He has been a Visiting Professor in HRM and an external examiner for DBA/PhD thesis for universities within Asia and in Africa. Dr Bala has published over seventy articles on HRM and related areas in international journals, conference proceedings, and book chapters. As a HRM speaker, Dr Bala has presented on HRM in numerous countries within Asia, Africa, Europe, South Pacific, Australia, and the USA. Dr Bala is a HRDF (Malaysia) Certified Trainer (Exempted), an ACAP (Australian College of Applied Psychology) Certified Workplace Trainer (Level IV), and a Certified Trainer, Speaker and Coach with the John Maxwell Team (USA). As a HRM trainer and consultant, Dr Bala has vast experience in conducting training and consultancy programmes in HRM and has contributed tremendously towards HRM effectiveness for hundreds of organisations.
